1987
It began with one simple mission
Perfect Spud opened with a powerful but humble goal: to serve the crispiest, fluffiest and most comforting jacket potatoes in town. From day one, regulars were introduced to our signature fillings — and kept coming back for more.

Our home in the heart of Woolston
Perfect Spud found its forever home at 43 Bridge Road. Here our homemade curry, bolognese and chilli became the talk of the neighbourhood — served alongside classic comfort like baked beans and cheddar.
Today
Still here, still homemade, three decades on
Same warm welcome, same dedication to the humble spud. Whether it's classic comfort like baked beans and cheddar or one of our rotating daily specials, a new generation of regulars now orders the spuds their parents did — and we wouldn't have it any other way.
